Residence Inn by Marriott Lafayette Airport

Friendly and comfortable hotel. Great breakfast. The best on our 10 day travels all between FL and CA over the holiday break.

We booked a room for a Saturday night, preparing to fly out of Lafayette Airport on Sunday. Turns out the shuttle doesn't run on Sundays, so we had to order an uber ride. When we got to the room, the thermostat was set at 69 degrees, so we turned it off and left it off all night. Even the next morning, we weren't hot at all, despite this being early September in southern Louisiana. I get that the room A/C has to be running to avoid mold, but 69 seems a bit harsh. When I went to take a shower, I found the body wash bottle all but empty. I used it up and will report it depleted when we check out. We were on the 2nd floor and, going to the elevator, the second exit sign has the arrow pointing the wrong way, to a room, with the elevator in the opposite direction of the arrow. Finally, when I turned on the TV this morning, I noticed that it welcomed WAYNE to room 209. Our last name is BLAIN, but someone had wax in their ears or something. Worse, we're long-time members of this hotel chain and our info is definitely in their system. Not a big deal but shows a lack of awareness...unless Wayne stayed here before us and they forgot to change it. UPDATE: We stayed at the same hotel coming back home and there were 2 minor issues: 1) The plug that the coffemaker was plugged into didn't work, so I had to plug it in another plug. 2) My coffee from that coffee maker the second time was watery. My wife's seemed to be fine (as far as I remember her telling me).

Was a late night check-in and was put in a room located at the back of the complex. Poorly cleaned room with last persons hair in the drain of tub, tv wouldn't work, animal stains on couch and floor. Sorry, never again.

Solid place to stay for a couple of days. The receptionists were very friendly and caring. The rooms are average and they do smell a little, but you do get a full kitchen in the 1-bedroom. Location is decent, close to the airport and some eateries off of Pinhook.

Nice clean rooms. Good facilities. Staff not overly helpful (the room internet didn’t work, and their response was to tell us that no-one else had complained, so it must have been just our room!) Maybe they were tired.

Victoria at the front desk was so kind and very helpful! And the housekeeper Marie also was great, detailed, and fast. It has been a good stay surrounded by helpful and caring staff! Would recommend

The 2 bedroom suites are nice and very roomy. Great kitchen area and table. Everyone had a television in their room and spacious accessible restroom.
